Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nuppu Lupaus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harcore Prawn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lupaus comes into the arena with Eddy Grant - Romancing the Stone blaring out of the sound system. Prawn has chosen Rock Box - Run DMC as his entrance music. Harcore Prawn has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Nuppu Lupaus's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Harcore Prawn!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lupaus scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Prawn connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lupaus. Lupaus circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
We've been told by Lupaus's head coaches at All Around Training that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Lupaus closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Prawn quickly recovers to half guard.
Prawn makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Prawn.
Lupaus is in close to Prawn's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Prawn looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lupaus is one step ahead there.
Lupaus wants to control from the top but Prawn keeps moving.
Lupaus pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Prawn is keeping the position for now.
Lupaus trying to control but Prawn is working from the bottom.

Lupaus not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Nuppu Lupaus just wasn't active enough.
Prawn uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lupaus.
Prawn throws a head kick that misses.
Prawn tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lupaus paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Prawn getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Prawn has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
A jab lands there for Lupaus.
Prawn stuffs the takedown.
Prawn throws a body punch but Lupaus moves out of range.

Prawn misses the jab.
Prawn moves in looking to clinch but Lupaus pushes him off.
Prawn misses with a hook. Lupaus ducked under it nicely.

Lupaus steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Prawn.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Prawn lands a head kick. Lupaus smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Lupaus connects with the punch.
Prawn misses with an uppercut.
Harcore Prawn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lupaus misses with a looping right.
Prawn closes the distance looking to clinch
and Lupaus counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Lupaus bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Lupaus in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Prawn is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
