The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maynard misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Manson.
Maynard looks to land a combination. Manson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Manson throws a body punch but Maynard moves out of range.
Maynard throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A head kick from Maynard lands but Manson takes it in his stride.
A chopping leg kick lands by Maynard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Maynard lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Manson blocks a head kick by Maynard.
Manson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Maynard circles away quickly and effectively.
Maynard slips under a jab from Manson.
Manson misses with a body shot.
Maynard tries to clinch up
and Manson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Peter Maynard has been cut.
Manson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Maynard feints and then cracks Manson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Manson down.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Manson looks to land a left hand but Maynard moved out of range nicely.

Maynard lands a big head kick that sends Manson tumbling to the mat! Maynard takes a step backwards and waves Manson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Manson is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Manson takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Oh Manson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Maynard throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Manson crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
