Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zdeno Chara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alen Zalac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zalac has chosen Amazing - Kanye West as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chara decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Chara is working for a submission of some sort.
Chara will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Chara is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Chara is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Zalac has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Zalac is desperately trying to improve his position but Chara has a good base and remains in mount.
Chara misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Chara wants to control the pace but Zalac is squirming around nicely.

Chara thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Chara working for a guillotine from mount but Zalac is in no mood to give up.
Chara wants to control but Zalac has made it back to half guard. Nice work.

Chara seems to be working for a kimura but Zalac defends the submission attempt.

Chara is trying to control the action in half guard but Zalac is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Chara wants to work for an arm triangle but Zalac is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Chara thows a huge punch but Zalac dodges it nicely.
Zalac is trying to control but can't.

Chara is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Chara is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Zalac still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Zalac has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Zalac wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Chara, who protects the arm well.

Chara wants to control but Zalac postures up.

Zalac is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Chara is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Chara manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Chara is looking to improve his position.
Chara is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Zalac's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Zalac's back!

A relieved looking Zdeno Chara thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
