Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kurt Messer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergey Dorokhov!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dorokhov comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Dorokhov blocks a head kick by Messer.
Messer moves out of range of the strikes.
Messer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Messer tries to close the distance and clinch but Dorokhov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Messer lands with a slapping head kick.
Dorokhov missing with a left hand there. Messer was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Dorokhov digs a good body shot into Messer's ribs.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dorokhov connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Messer's hands.
Messer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dorokhov misses with a looping right.
Dorokhov throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Messer stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Messer is looking to clinch.
Dorokhov loads up on a big right hand but Messer slips the punch.
Messer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dorokhov.
Messer scores with a nice strike.
Messer throws a body kick that misses.
Dorokhov throws a big shot that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A jab from Dorokhov finds it's way through Messer's defenses.
Messer has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Messer there as he acknowledges the shot.
It looks like Kurt Messer has been cut.
Dorokhov ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Messer looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Messer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dorokhov lands a right hook to the body.
Messer is breathing heavily.
Dorokhov sizes up Messer with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dorokhov works Messer's body with a nice hook.

Messer walks into a stiff left hand from Dorokhov.
Dorokhov scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Messer on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Dorokhov drops Messer with a straight right hand, right on the button! Dorokhov follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
