Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sang Rich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has chosen Heart Attack-Demi Lovato as his entrance music. Sang Rich has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones gets a double leg takedown into Rich's guard.

Jones drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jones jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Rich looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Jones advances to half guard.
Rich tries to get to full guard but Jones has control of the leg.
Rich misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Jones throwing shots but Rich is blocking nicely.
Jones throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Rich wants to get back to full guard.
Jones thows a huge punch but Rich dodges it nicely.
It looks like Jones is going to stand back up.

Jones seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Rich is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Jones has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jones in particular looking to stall.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jon Jones.
Rich pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Jones shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jones showed some decent athleticism there.
Ground and pound from Jones.
Rich moves into full guard.
Jones is pushing down on Rich's leg trying to pass to half guard. Rich is fighting to maintain full guard but Jones has managed to sneak the leg through.
Still in half guard, Jones seems content to control.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Jones looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Rich trying to control but Jones postures up.

Jones is taking a breather. Rich says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Jones prevents Rich from improving his position.
Jones with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Rich is trying to maintain the position but Jones is very close to passing his half guard.

Rich wants to get back to full guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jon Jones wasn't active enough on the ground.

Jones changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rich looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Jones has hold of Rich's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Rich tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Jones cranks the arm and Rich screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Rich, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

A very excited looking Jon Jones made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
