Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mark Bariga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stevie Wait (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wait comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Times Up kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bariga misses with a looping left.
Wait is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bariga sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Wait lands a jab to the head.
Wait walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Bariga checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Wait gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Wait misses with a looping left.
Wait thows a left - swing and a miss!
Bariga lands a left and a right that send Wait crashing to the mat, dazed. Bariga thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Wait is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wait moves out of range of the strikes.
Wait is still on wobbly legs! Can Bariga finish him?
Bariga waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Wait.
Wait steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bariga.
Wait misses with a jab to the body
and Bariga counters with a crisp right that sends Wait to the canvas! Bariga follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mark Bariga!
In his post fight interview, Mark Bariga started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
Stevie Wait spoke after the fight, saying 'I just lost a fight, I have no time for an interview I have to catch the first flight back to NY and get in the gym!!'.
