Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ronny Carrillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adriano Barbosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carrillo has closed the distance and engaged Barbosa in a clinch.
Barbosa drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Barbosa has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Barbosa wants to get back to striking at distance but Carrillo won't allow it.
Carrillo tries for a takedown. No joy.
Carrillo has Barbosa pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Barbosa manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Carrillo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Carrillo feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Barbosas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Carrillo ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Carrillo no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Carrillo is looking to sweep but instead, Barbosa has passed into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Carrillo is not content to let Barbosa control the position.

A frustrated look appears on Barbosa's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Carrillo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Carrillo is trying to pull guard but Barbosa turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Barbosa tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Carrillo avoids it.
Carrillo tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Barbosa's elbow.

A close round but Adriano Barbosa will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Carrillo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Barbosa sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Carrillo somewhat.

Carrillo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Carrillo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Barbosa on his heels. He'll look to pass Barbosa's guard now, I'm sure.
Barbosa manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Carrillo manages to get himself to full guard.
Barbosa must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Carrillo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Barbosa defends it easily.

Carrillo throws the kick towards the body but Barbosa avoids it.
Carrillo lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ronny Carrillo.
