The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Moreland throws a jab but it's blocked by Rodriguez.
Moreland works Rodriguez's body with a nice hook.
Rodriguez slips a jab and a cross from Moreland.

It looks like Olegerio Rodriguez has been cut.
Rodriguez swings for the body but Moreland moves out of range.

That was a close round but I would say that William Moreland will probably get the nod.

Moreland fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rodriguez manages to avoid it.
Moreland does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Rodriguez shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Moreland manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Moreland is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
