And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Sasquatch slips a jab from Maximus.

Maximus moves into the clinch.
Maximus connects with a nasty looking knee right to The Sasquatch's face.
Maximus is trying to drag The Sasquatch to the mat but The Sasquatch just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Maximus tries to pull guard but The Sasquatch forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

The Sasquatch breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Maximus shoots for a takedown but The Sasquatch saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Sassy The Sasquatch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Maximus.
Maximus shoots in for a double leg but The Sasquatch sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Maximus closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

The Sasquatch breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Maximus gets a clinch.
Maximus keeps control of The Sasquatch as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Maximus is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables The Sasquatch to keep the fight standing.

Maximus tries to pull guard but The Sasquatch holds him up against the cage and eventually Maximus drops back down to his feet.

The Sasquatch's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Maximus doesn't manage to clinch there - The Sasquatch circles away.

Maximus clinches up against the cage.

The Sasquatch breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Maximus tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Maximus has closed the distance and engaged The Sasquatch in a clinch.

The Sasquatch's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Maximus tries to land a body kick

and The Sasquatch counters with a crisp one two that drops Maximus! The Sasquatch thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Maximus to his feet! Maximus is in big trouble!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Maximus tries to clinch up.

Maximus clinches up with The Sasquatch and pushes him back against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The Sasquatch wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Maximus has him pressed against the cage.

The Sasquatch breaks from the clinch.

and The Sasquatch counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Maximus badly! The Sasquatch follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Maximus out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as The Sasquatch finished him against the cage.
