With a record of 14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ad Jansen!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jansen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mitchell throws out the jab.
Mitchell scores with a one two! Jansen had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Mitchell misses with an uppercut.
Mitchell sizes up Jansen with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Nice body punch from Mitchell.
Jansen fails with a takedown attempt.
Jansen shoots in for a takedown but Mitchell shows good takedown defense.
Mitchell throws the left hand but Jansen avoids the punch easily.
Jansen takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Mitchell has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Mitchell keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Logan Mitchell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ad Jansen.
Jansen shoots in for a takedown but Mitchell shows good takedown defense.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jansen shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Mitchell scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Logan Mitchell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jansen.

and Mitchell makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Mitchell cracks Jansen with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Jansen looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Mitchell finish him?

Mitchell lands a big right hand that sends Jansen crashing to the mat! Mitchell stays standing though and waves Jansen back to his feet!
Jansen is still on wobbly legs! Can Mitchell finish him?
Mitchell lands a brutal uppercut that launches Jansen off his feet! Jansen tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
