The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Kenichi Hosakawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delim doesn't manage to clinch there - Schmidt circles away.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Schmidt has the hooks in. Delim is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Schmidt has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Delim! Can he survive? No! He's out! Schmidt gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
