The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Almdudler has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Almdudler is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Fukuzawa - that's hurt Almdudler badly! Oh, another knee lands and Almdudler is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Almdudler doesn't seem to be complaining.

A very excited looking Itagaki Fukuzawa rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
