Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dis Styxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Umberto Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Styxx comes to the cage accompanied by Snoop Dogg: Gin & Juice. Duran has chosen Hatebreed - Live for this as his entrance music. Umberto Duran has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Styxx ducks under a wild hook from Duran.
Styxx tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Duran paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Styxx gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Duran.

Duran looks to land a left hand but Styxx moved out of range nicely.
Duran jabs Styxx right on the nose. Styxx blinks but takes it well.

Dis Styxx seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Duran bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Duran avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Styxx is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Duran pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dis Styxx. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Styxx is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Styxx drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Duran gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Duran escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Styxx waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Duran.
Styxx throws a body punch but Duran moves out of range.
Duran feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Styxxs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Styxx uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Duran.
Styxx tried to score with a low kick but Duran checks it.
Some wild striking there from Duran.
Styxx rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Duran moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Duran might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Duran fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Styxx.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Styxx doesn't manage to clinch there - Duran circles away.
Duran lands with a big left! Styxx is wobbled badly! Duran comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Styxx to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Umberto Duran!
Umberto Duran seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
