Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrey Lapis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shock Zhou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lapis comes to the cage accompanied by Once Solemn . On his way into the cage it seems that Andrey Lapis has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Andrey Lapis seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zhou lands with an overhand left.

Zhou moves into the clinch.
Lapis has Zhou pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Zhou manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Lapis changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Zhou fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Lapis is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Lapis tries to score a body lock takedown but Zhou shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrey Lapis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lapis tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Zhou just stands there and leans against the cage.
Zhou tries to break the clinch but Lapis is controlling the position.
Lapis has been working on his balance at St Petersburg MMA Gym, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Zhou.

Zhou breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lapis dives in and grabs Zhou's left leg, looking for a takedown. Zhou pushes down on Lapis's head and hops out.
Lapis shoots in and drives through. Zhou sprawls well.
Lapis throws out a powerful jab.
Lapis misses with a double jab
and Zhou counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Lapis dives in for a single leg takedown but Zhou sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Zhou is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Zhou breaks the clinch.
Zhou moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Zhou drops Lapis with a beautiful combination! Lapis stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Zhou is looking for the KO!

Lapis is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Lapis has taken the fight to the clinch.
Oh Lapis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Zhou breaks the clinch.
Nice takedown defense from Zhou. No joy for Lapis on that attempt.

Lapis seems to have got his legs back now.

Lapis dives in for a single leg takedown but Zhou sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Zhou pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Zhou lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Lapis out cold! Lapis is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
