The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heggs keeps the fight on the outside.
Heggs slaps away a takedown attempt from Oliveira, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Some wild striking there from Heggs.

Oliveira shoots in and gets a takedown into Heggs's guard.
Oliveira wants to control from the top but Heggs keeps moving.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Oliveira accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Thiago Oliveira wasn't active enough on the ground.
Oliveira avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Oliveira closes the distance but Heggs moves to the side
and Heggs counters with a flying knee that drops Oliveira! Heggs dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
