Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Javier Melendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bregan Union (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melendez takes a shot to the body in his stride.
A left lands for Union.
Melendez slips under a jab from Union.
Union fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Melendez throws a nice looking combination but Union bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Union scores with a decent looking hook.
Melendez's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Union connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Melendez scrambles back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Union throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Melendez sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Union ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Melendez takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Union misses with a jab, cross combination.
Melendez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Union swivels and escapes.
Union circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Melendez to the canvas! Melendez doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Union keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
