PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sor Singha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Boom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sor Singha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 7 - 1, fighting out of London, Bob Boom!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Glass and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singha misses with a body shot.
A cross from Boom lands.
Boom connects with a body shot.
Boom avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Boom, as that shot connected.
Singha takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Singha misses with a head kick.
Boom walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

It looks like Bob Boom has been cut.
Singha misses with a hook. Boom ducked under it nicely.
Singha tries to move into range but Boom moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Singha takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Singha fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Boom checks it well.
Boom takes one on the button.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Singha is looking to score with low kicks.
Boom throws a shot to the body.
Singha finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Singha misses with a wild body shot.
Boom connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Singha momentarily.
Boom displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Singha throws out the jab.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Singha lands a big uppercut and Boom crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Boom looks OK. Singha waves Boom back to his feet!

Boom is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Singha rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Boom counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Boom is still on wobbly legs! Can Singha finish him?
Boom moves into range and connects with a jab.
Boom bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Boom seems to have recovered his senses.
Boom stuns Singha with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Singha drops Boom with a naaaaasty hook - Boom is in real trouble here! Singha dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sor Singha!
Sor Singha bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
