Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chris Stone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 3, fighting out of Helsinki, Edward Pattinson!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pattinson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Stone.
Stone throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Stone looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Stone misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Pattinson slips under a jab from Stone.

Stone throws a sloppy head kick and Pattinson moves out of range easily.
Stone has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Pattinson.
Chris Stone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've been informed that Pattinson has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Pattinson tries to clinch up but Stone circles away and keeps his distance.

With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Stone just misses with a elbow thrown towards Pattinson's brow.

Pattinson throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Stone throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Pattinson blocks it with crossed arms.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pattinson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Pattinson moves forwards but Stone connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Pattinson throws a leg kick but Stone sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Stone lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Stone misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stone defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pattinson.
Pattinson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Stone takes a swing at Pattinson's ribcage but misses.
A decent looking cross lands there for Pattinson.

Stone tries to sprawl but Pattinson drives through with a takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Stone is trying to stand up here but Pattinson is controlling him well.

Pattinson is trying to work for a kimura but Stone is defending well.
Stone is looking to escape.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Pattinson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Stone tries to get to full guard but Pattinson has control of the leg.

Pattinson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Stone sees it coming and defends easily.

Stone is refusing to be controlled, as Pattinson sits in half guard.

Stone looking for submissions off his back.
Stone regains full guard. Nicely done.

Pattinson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stone has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pattinson has managed to get both his arms back between Stone's legs - danger averted.
Pattinson wants to control from the top but Stone keeps moving.

Stone is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Stone keeping moving, preventing Pattinson from controlling successfully.
Stone might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Pattinson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Pattinson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Stone pushes a forearm under Pattinson's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Pattinson is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
