The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Steve Montenegro and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tryhard lands with a kick to the ribs.
Tryhard displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dan throws out the jab.
Dan looks to throw the jab but Tryhard is out of range.
Tryhard tries to close the distance and clinch but Dan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Tryhard counters by moving into the clinch.

Tryhard throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dan's waist but Dan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tryhard off to one side.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Dan has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Dan working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
