Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Gruber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. On his way into the cage it seems that Anderson Silva has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Anderson Silva seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gruber bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Silva is breathing heavily.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

We've been hearing good reports from Silva's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Gruber in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Silva looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Gruber turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
