Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Britt Vang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Garza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Garza's choice of entrance music: kickboxer theme. Thiago Garza has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garza moves in looking to clinch but Vang pushes him off.
Garza tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Vang tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Garza swivels and escapes.

Garza scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Vang struggling a bit here.
Garza misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Garza looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Garza tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Garza wants to control but Vang is keeping him busy.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Vang tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Garza wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Garza is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Vang is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Garza has hold of Vang's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Vang seems comfortable defending it but Garza has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Vang is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Vang is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Garza couldn't care less - he's delighted!
