Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Delmar Robbins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quane Duck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quane Duck has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Delmar Robbins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Quane Duck!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, David Schapiro and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robbins lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Duck is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Duck throws a head punch that misses.
Robbins is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Robbins jumps guard but Duck turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Robbins really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Duck throws a big elbow that misses.

Robbins is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Duck knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Duck for a finish.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Delmar Robbins will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Robbins bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Duck defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Robbins.
Robbins throws a right hand that Duck ducks under and follows up with a left that Duck also avoids with ease.
Duck throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Robbins's waist but Robbins gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Duck off to one side.
Robbins shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Duck but Duck pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Robbins dives in and grabs Duck's left leg, looking for a takedown. Duck pushes down on Robbins's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Delmar Robbins. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Duck shoots in but Robbins avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Robbins lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Duck closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Robbins's guard.

Duck gets to his feet. Robbins looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Robbins fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Duck to the ground. Robbins is now in Duck's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Robbins avoids a wild elbow strike from Duck.
Duck is pressed up against the cage. Robbins has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Duck down to the mat. Duck avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Robbins fails to land the takedown.
Robbins gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Duck counters with a head kick. That will keep Robbins thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Robbins gets caught flat footed, as Duck shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Robbins wants to sweep but no luck.

Duck decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Duck goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Robbins closes the distance and clinches.

Duck breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Robbins dives in and grabs Duck's left leg, looking for a takedown. Duck pushes down on Robbins's head and hops out.
Duck lands a high kick!

Horrible takedown by Robbins or perhaps it was just good defense by Duck which made him look bad.
Robbins shoots in for a takedown but Duck shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Duck has taken the fight to the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Duck throws a punch but it's blocked by Robbins.

Robbins won't allow Duck to get back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A close second round but Quane Duck will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Delmar Robbins.
I think Robbins has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
