Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Haigh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kolo Cornelius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haigh comes into the arena with Macabre - Acid Bath Vampire blaring out of the sound system. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Dmitry Maklakov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cornelius lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Haigh throws the left hand but Cornelius avoids the punch easily.
Cornelius moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Cornelius tries to land a leg kick but Haigh saw it coming and moves away.
Cornelius misses with a leg kick.
A bone on bone clash there as Haigh blocks the leg kick.
A solid leg kick lands there for Cornelius.
Haigh scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Haigh wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Cornelius, who protects the arm well.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Haigh is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cornelius knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Haigh is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cornelius is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
