Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fitz Miah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franz Hinkelmauer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Franz Hinkelmauer!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miah tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hinkelmauer swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Miah wants to clinch

and Hinkelmauer moves into the clinch.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Hinkelmauer just misses with a elbow thrown towards Miah's brow.

Hinkelmauer gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Hinkelmauer prevents Miah from getting back to his feet.
Miah will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Hinkelmauer seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Miah wants to stand up but Hinkelmauer is controlling him.

Hinkelmauer advances to half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Franz Hinkelmauer was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Hinkelmauer closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Miah to the mat! Miah manages to get full guard.
Miah knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hinkelmauer on the ground.

Miah wants to get back to his feet but Hinkelmauer is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Hinkelmauer's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Franz Hinkelmauer has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Miah tries a head kick but it misses.
Miah keeps Hinkelmauer at a distance using the push kick.
Miah wants to clinch up but Hinkelmauer keeps it at a distance.
Fitz Miah is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Miah tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Hinkelmauer decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Miah's guard.

Hinkelmauer stands up from Miah's guard - Hinkelmauer perhaps looking for a knockout.
Fitz Miah seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Miah connects with a leg kick. Hinkelmauer looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

and Hinkelmauer counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hinkelmauer.
Miah misses with an elbow strike.

Hinkelmauer is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Miah can't fight it off and eventually Hinkelmauer manages to take the fight to the floor. Miah looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hinkelmauer slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Hinkelmauer works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Hinkelmauer in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Miah tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Hinkelmauer!
