Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Grant Fortune (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dalton Little (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Little is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Muse - Knights Of Cydonia . Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Grant Fortune!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 1, fighting out of New York, Dalton Little!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, David Schapiro and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fortune walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Little checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Fortune throws a leg kick but Little sees it coming and moves out of range.
Little misses with a wild combination.
Little swinging wildly here.
Little has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Fortune is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Fortune pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Fortune dodges the punch combination from Little.
Little throws a combination. Fortune tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Fortune drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Little is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Fortune is controlling him.
Fortune is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Fortune counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Little!
Little really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fortune. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Little throws an overhand right that lands on Fortune's shoulder, as Fortune tries to avoid the shot.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Little can do anything to dispel that myth.
Little is in a horrible position here. Fortune smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
