Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Daiju Kikuchi!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Illya Tyunina and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kikuchi misses with a two punch combination.
Kikuchi throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Doo Man throws a right and a left that Kikuchi avoids nicely.
Doo Man tries to land a body kick
and Kikuchi counters with a big head kick but Doo Man shrugs it off.
Doo Man tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Doo Man lands with a kick to the ribs.
Doo Man turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Doo Man throws a push kick but Kikuchi slaps the foot to one side.
Kikuchi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Doo Man moves away.
Kikuchi jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Doo Man throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kikuchi stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Kikuchi takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Doo Man avoids the head kick by Kikuchi.
Doo Man throws a sloppy head kick and Kikuchi moves out of range easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Doo Man takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Kikuchi takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Doo Man lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kikuchi's sensitive parts.
Kikuchi looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Doo Man fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kikuchi has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Doo Man throws a sloppy head kick
and Kikuchi counters with a body kick.
Doo Man looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Doo Man cracks Kikuchi with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kikuchi has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Doo Man darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Doo Man is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Doo Man uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kikuchi.
Doo Man throws a sloppy head kick and Kikuchi moves out of range easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kikuchi drops his hands momentarily and Doo Man takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Kikuchi closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Kikuchi takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Park Doo Man seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Doo Man tries to land a front kick but Kikuchi steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
A clash of legs there as Kikuchi blocks the low kick.

Doo Man throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Doo Man connects with a leg kick. Kikuchi looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Doo Man takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Doo Man does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Doo Man cracks Kikuchi with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Doo Man throws out a loose jab but Kikuchi uses good head movement to avoid it.

Kikuchi lands a nice shot that snaps Doo Man 's head back.

Doo Man is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Doo Man walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Doo Man lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Doo Man misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Doo Man lands a leg kick that knocks Kikuchi off balance momentarily.

Doo Man throws the kick towards the body but Kikuchi avoids it.

Doo Man shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Doo Man throws a front kick that sends Kikuchi stumbling back into the cage.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Doo Man lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kikuchi has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kikuchi and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Kikuchi scores with the left hand. Doo Man knows he should have avoided that one.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kikuchi thuds his right hand into Doo Man 's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Doo Man is rocked!
Doo Man throws a hook to the side of Kikuchi's head but Kikuchi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A big left from Doo Man misses.
Kikuchi tries to close the distance and clinch up but Doo Man swats him away and circles back towards the center.
No joy there for Kikuchi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kikuchi moves out of range of the leg kick from Doo Man .
A head kick from Doo Man lands but Kikuchi takes it in his stride.
Kikuchi avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Kikuchi lands a nice looking kick to the body. Doo Man takes a step back to recover.

Doo Man just misses with a punch to the body.

Doo Man misses with a lunging right hand
and Kikuchi counters with a flying knee that drops Doo Man ! Kikuchi dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
