Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Strikes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Kaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaz is looking to clinch but Strikes is avoiding it.
Max Kaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kaz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Strikes fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kaz, pushing him back against the cage.

Kaz is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Strikes.
Kaz tries to clinch up but Strikes circles away and keeps his distance.

and Strikes counters with a head kick. That will keep Kaz thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Strikes feints with a jab and clips Kaz right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Kaz is sent crashing into the canvas and Strikes leaps in for the kill! Kaz tries to get to his feet but Strikes is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Kaz is in need of a savior and steps in!
