Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Manny Pacman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takanori Sakurai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pacman's entrance music is Bebot by Black Eyed Peas. A fine choice. Sakurai comes into a darkened arena with his song building. number girl syndrome kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakurai tries to move into range but Pacman moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Sakurai will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Left hook, right uppercut from Pacman.
Sakurai misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pacman lands a nice looking body shot.
Sakurai fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Pacman wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pacman fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sakurai looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Sakurai needs to keep his hands up - Pacman had a free shot at his head there.
Pacman lands with a nice body punch.
Pacman lands a glancing blow to the side of Sakurai 's head.
Sakurai dodges the punch combination from Pacman.
A lazy left from Pacman finds it's target.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pacman throws a push kick but Sakurai slaps the foot to one side.
Pacman looks to land a combination. Sakurai sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Pacman scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Takanori Sakurai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pacman lands with a big left! Sakurai is wobbled badly! Pacman comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Sakurai to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
