Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Len Sampson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eddie Peak!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sampson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Sampson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Peak sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sampson somewhat.
Peak changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Peak throws a right and a left that both miss.
Peak throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sampson.
A combination from Sampson does no damage.
Sampson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A swing and a miss from Peak.
Peak lands a jab-cross combination.


It looks like Len Sampson has been cut.
Peak lands a right hook to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nice uppercut there from Peak.
Sampson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Peak looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Sampson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Peak is looking for a sweep. Sampson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Peak trying to control but Sampson postures up.
Peak is looking to improve his position.
Sampson trying to pass the guard but Peak defending well.
Sampson with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Peak trying to control from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Peak fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sampson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Peak ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sampson moves away.
Sampson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Peak punishes Sampson's body with a nice straight punch.
Sampson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Sampson is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Peak gets in close and tags Sampson with a short punch that almost sends Sampson to the mat! Oh Sampson is in big trouble! He turns his back on Peak, trying to create some distance but Peak rushes him, striking wildly and Sampson goes down! The referee tackles Peak into the cage to end the fight! Peak is one violent man!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eddie Peak!
Eddie Peak bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
