Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elias Eberhard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mayo Kermode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Elias Eberhard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mayo Kermode!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eberhard thuds his right hand into Kermode's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A lull in the action here.
Eberhard is looking for a sweep.
My spies in Johny Fighting Temple inform me that Kermode has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Elias Eberhard.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Eberhard, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
