Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mohsin Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andreas Kraniotakes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andreas Kraniotakes has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mohsin Ali!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andreas Kraniotakes!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kraniotakes slaps away a takedown attempt from Ali, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Ali wants to clinch
and Kraniotakes counters with a head kick.

Kraniotakes looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Ali won't allow Kraniotakes to pass to mount.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Kraniotakes working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Kraniotakes swings around for an armbar but Ali sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kraniotakes's guard.
Ali won't allow Kraniotakes to get back to his feet.

Ali is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kraniotakes is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kraniotakes has escaped and now he's on top!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kraniotakes accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Ali had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kraniotakes defends it easily.
Ali wants to control the position but Kraniotakes says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kraniotakes lands a nice short elbow.

Kraniotakes maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Ali could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Kraniotakes has cracked it and Ali is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Kraniotakes!
