Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sabin Figaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Holden Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Figaro comes to the cage accompanied by Prospect - Warrior. Gracie is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Metallica Enter Sandman. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 33 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sabin Figaro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 11 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Holden Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Ackerman and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Figaro misses with a low kick.
Figaro changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gracie tries to avoid it but Figaro manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gracie to the ground. Gracie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Figaro moves out of range as Gracie throws a body kick.
Gracie on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
The fighters circling - Figaro throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Figaro lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Figaro misses with a double jab.
Figaro misses with a head kick.
Figaro ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Figaro throws a sloppy head kick and Gracie moves out of range easily.
Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch up but Figaro swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Holden Gracie is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Figaro.
Figaro takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Gracie.
Figaro throws a half hearted mid kick.
Figaro throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
We've been informed that Gracie has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Gracie steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Figaro.
Gracie is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Figaro.
Figaro tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Gracie is able to avoid easily.
Figaro throws a shot from downtown. Gracie moves away and avoids it.

Gracie looks to land a body kick but Figaro moved away.
Figaro shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gracie as he jumps to the side.
Gracie throws a leg kick which misses Figaro's front leg but catches the back leg as Figaro tries to avoid it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Figaro shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gracie pinned against the cage. Gracie gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sabin Figaro. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Figaro comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Gracie takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Figaro bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Figaro throws a solid leg kick but Gracie takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Figaro.

Figaro looks to land a left hand but Gracie moved out of range nicely.
Gracie lets loose with a powerful body kick. Figaro will feel that in the morning.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A looping hook to the body misses from Gracie. Figaro does a little dance to reset his feet.
Figaro lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Figaro takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Gracie stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Gracie fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Gracie keeps Figaro at a distance using the push kick.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Holden Gracie dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Figaro walks forward, straight into a front kick from Gracie.
A jab lands there for Gracie.

Figaro displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gracie throws out the jab.
Holden Gracie seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Gracie buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gracie throws the kick towards the body but Figaro avoids it.

Figaro chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gracie can pounce on him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Figaro dives in and grabs Gracie's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gracie pushes down on Figaro's head and hops out.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Gracie buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Figaro throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Figaro crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Gracie - the referee stops the clock and Figaro gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Gracie. Figaro manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Gracie. Figaro shrugs it off though.

Gracie connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Figaro out cold! This one is over in a flash!

After winning the bout, Holden Gracie thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
