Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Stern (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fredrik Meduza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stern comes into the arena with Ain't No Grave blaring out of the sound system. Meduza comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Buffalo Soldier kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Fredrik Meduza enters the cage!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fredrik Meduza!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Russell Pearce and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stern misses with a low kick as Meduza jumps back.
A low kick from Meduza is predictable there
and Stern cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Meduza's coach down at Hunter's hideout was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Meduza's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Stern jabs Meduza right on the nose. Meduza blinks but takes it well.
We've been told by Stern's head coaches at ~Abobomination Training $700 13 LEGIT elite coache that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Stern throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Stern defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Meduza.
Stern tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Meduza was well out of range. Poor timing from Stern.
Jason Stern seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stern throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Meduza throws a push kick but Stern slaps the foot to one side.
Meduza moves out of range of the strikes.
Stern throws a low kick but Meduza moves out of range easily.
Stern throws a lazy uppercut
and Meduza counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Stern's guard now.
Meduza trying to control the position from guard on top but Stern is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stern has control of Meduza's left arm, preventing Meduza from doing any damage.
Stern trying to keep a closed guard but Meduza is proving a slippery customer.

Meduza is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Stern checks the leg kick.
Stern misses with a lunging right hand
and Meduza cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Stern throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Meduza sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Meduza takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Stern on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Meduza. Meduza obviously looking to wear him down.
Stern wants to land a leg kick but Meduza is out of range.
Meduza dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Stern. That did some damage!
A nice leg kick lands there from Meduza.
Meduza stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Stern.
Meduza slips a jab from Stern.
Meduza checks a low kick from Stern.
Meduza feints and then cracks Stern's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Stern down.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A telegraphed right hand from Stern misses the target.
Meduza uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Stern.
Stern throws a poor cross that misses
and Meduza counters with an inside leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stern blocks a head kick by Meduza.
Meduza listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Stern misses with a head kick.
Meduza throws a leg kick that misses.
Stern falls off balance throwing a combination
letting Meduza counter with a right hand.
A chopping leg kick lands by Meduza.
Nice uppercut lands for Stern. That snapped Meduza's head back.
A swing and a miss from Stern.
Meduza misses with the body kick
and Stern counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Stern throws a right and a left that Meduza avoids nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nice jab there from Stern.
A shot to the liver by Stern. Beautiful body shot.
Meduza throws out a leg kick but Stern moves out of range and Meduza only half commits.
Stern throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Meduza counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Meduza throws an overhand right that lands on Stern's shoulder, as Stern tries to avoid the shot.
Stern steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Meduza.
Meduza lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Meduza with a jab.
Meduza jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Stern tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Meduza is able to avoid easily.
Stern swings for the body but Meduza moves out of range.
Stern fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Meduza checks it well.
Nice straight punches there by Meduza. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Meduza.
Stern misses with a right hand
and Meduza counters with a head kick that drops Stern to the mat! Stern scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Meduza lands a hook that stumbles Stern back into the cage. Meduza follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Stern to the canvas! Meduza pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Stern has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Fredrik Meduza!
After the fight, Fredrik Meduza was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
