The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Black wants to get back to his feet but Donovan is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Donovan is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Donovan controlling from the top position.
Black is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Donovan defends well.
Donovan would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Donovan controls from within his opponent's guard.

Donovan is pushing down on Black's leg trying to pass to half guard. Black is fighting to maintain full guard but Donovan has managed to sneak the leg through.
Black wants to get back to his feet.
