The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stilakov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Holtz swivels and escapes.
Stilakov stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stilakov wants it to stay on the feet.
A punch combination from Holtz misses.
Holtz dips to his left and cracks Stilakov with an uppercut!
Holtz lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stilakov circles away quickly and effectively.
Stilakov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Holtz avoids it really well and circles away.
Holtz fails with the takedown.
Stilakov tries to clinch

so Holtz counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Stilakov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Holtz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Stilakov is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Holtz rolls with it to try and escape but Stilakov cranks on the arm and Holtz is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
