Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hranica keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hranica looks for the body kick but Perez saw that one coming.
Hranica lands a nice shot to the body.
Hranica throws a leg kick which misses Perez's front leg but catches the back leg as Perez tries to avoid it.
Hranica connects with a single shot there.
Hranica displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Perez.
Perez shoots in looking for a takedown. Hranica tries to sprawl out of it but Perez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hranica manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Mike Hranica has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Perez.
Perez fails with a takedown attempt.
Hranica bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Hranica stuns Perez with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Perez fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hranica sprawls well initially but Perez persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Perez passes to side control.

Perez wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hranica, who protects the arm well.
Hranica is trying to buck Perez off.
You can see the frustration on Hranica's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Hranica gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Hranica defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Perez.

Perez quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Perez but it's paid off an Hranica is forced to tap! Nice work by Perez.
