Sept Heures comes to the cage accompanied by Monster Mash. Pacquiao has chosen Its Time for War as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Manny Pacquiao!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Summer Carpenter and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sept Heures scores with a leg kick.
Pacquiao misses with an uppercut. Sept Heures saw that one coming.
Sept Heures ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Pacquiao lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Pacquiao.
Pacquiao misses with a looping left.
Sept Heures misses with a body kick.
Pacquiao swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sept Heures tries for a takedown but Pacquiao sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Pacquiao keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Sept Heures feints and then cracks Pacquiao's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Pacquiao down.
Sept Heures lands a nice looking kick to the body. Pacquiao takes a step back to recover.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pacquiao fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Sept Heures decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Pacquiao looks like he's trying to stand up.
Sept Heures looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sept Heures works his way into full mount!

Sept Heures is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Pacquiao has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Pacquiao wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Sept Heures.
Pacquiao wants to hold on but Sept Heures pushes him away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Sept Heures is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Pacquiao can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Pacquiao prevents Sept Heures from taking his back.
Pacquiao wants to get back to his feet.
Pacquiao really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sept Heures. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sept Heures fails to move to back control.

Sept Heures looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Sept Heures punishing his opponent with strikes.
Sept Heures sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Sept Heures is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Pacquiao has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Pacquiao!

Sept Heures is looking for a triangle but Pacquiao pushes his legs off easily.
Pacquiao is looking to work some ground and pound but Sept Heures has wrist control.

Sept Heures has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pacquiao can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Pacquiao avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Sept Heures has his foot on Pacquiao's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pacquiao works his way back into a safe position though.
Pacquiao throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sept Heures works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Pacquiao wants to get up but he can't break Sept Heures's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Sept Heures looking for a triangle here. Pacquiao is fighting it but it looks tight! Sept Heures pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Pacquiao is tapping out - this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Bonhomme Sept Heures!
Bonhomme Sept Heures seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
