The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gruber throws a left and a right that both miss
and Avila counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Avila swings for the body but Gruber moves out of range.
Avila tries to clinch but Gruber is having none of it.
A punch combination from Gruber misses.
Gruber keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gruber swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Avila counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Avila connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Avila lands a glancing blow to the side of Gruber's head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Avila gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Gruber.
Gruber throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Avila counters with a nice body shot.
Gruber swings for the body but Avila moves out of range.

Avila uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gruber.
Avila misses the shot to the body.
Gruber rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Avila moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gruber tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Avila was well out of range. Poor timing from Gruber.
Gruber ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Avila moves away.
Gruber avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gruber misses with a head kick.
and Avila counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Gruber! He's just covering up as Avila starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
