Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Will Powders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Rocket (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnny Rocket will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnny Rocket!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocket keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Powders is working for takedown but Rocket is calmly controlling the position for now.
A shot in the inside from Rocket.
Rocket lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Powders has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Rocket avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Powders goes for a takedown in the clinch but Rocket prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Will Powders. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Powders drops down looking for an ankle pick but Rocket pulls his leg out and moves away.

Rocket forces Powders back against the cage and clinches.

Powders tries for a takedown. No joy.
Rocket lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Still in the clinch, Rocket scores with a nice short uppercut.

Powders is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Rocket gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Rocket lands a hook that snaps the head of Powders backwards.
Rocket lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Powders is rocked!
Powders has Rocket pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rocket manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Oh Powders is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Powders has been working on his balance at Soul Supremacy - UK, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Rocket.
A body shot lands from Rocket.
Rocket lands a body punch in the clinch.
Powders is breathing heavily.
Rocket lands a left hand.
Rocket creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Powders with a big uppercut! Powders tries to clinch up but Rocket pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Powders to the mat! Powders covers up and Rocket unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Johnny Rocket!
