Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cat Von (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Monster Hero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Von comes into the arena with Eminem guilty conscience blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von misses with an attempted mid kick.
Good work by Hero as he checks the leg kick.
Von tries a head kick but it misses.

Von clinches.
Nice body punch from Von.
Hero lands with a short shot to the head.

It looks like Cat Von has been cut.
Hero's coach down at IMMA Gym of Elite ASS was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Hero's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Von wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Von blocks an uppercut.
Von lands a nice uppercut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Von lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Hero backwards.
Hero misses with some punches.

Von pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Hero misses with a low kick as Von jumps back.
Von throws a half hearted mid kick.
Von tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Von fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hero, pushing him back against the cage.
Hero misses with a short punch on the inside.
Hero throws a head punch that misses.
Von blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Von tries to throw a body punch but Hero avoids it by throwing Von back against the cage.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Von.

Von pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hero jabs at Von's body.
Von tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hero manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hero checks a low kick from Von.
Hero lands a glancing blow to the side of Von's head.
Von lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Von lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Hero throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Von throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Von takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Hero scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Von tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Hero fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Von looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Hero blocks the body kick.

Hero punishes Von's body with a nice straight punch.
Von is breathing heavily.
Hero takes a swing at Von's ribcage but misses.

Hero misses with a body shot.
Hero changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Hero jabs Von to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Hero works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Hero connects with a nice looking jab.

Cat Von's cut is getting worse.
A shot to the liver by Hero. Beautiful body shot.
Hero scores with a body shot.
Hero fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Hero cracks a nice hook into Von's ribs.
Hero tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Von is able to avoid easily.
Hero lands a nice hook to Von's body. Von takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Hero is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Von rather than just go for the knockout.
Hero works the jab nicely.

Hero drops Von with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Von looks back up at him and smiles so Hero waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Von is rocked!

Cat Von's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Hero measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Von! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
