Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Too Cold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zander Freyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freyer has chosen Milquetoast by Helmet as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Zander Freyer!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cold tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Freyer paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Freyer closes the distance and pushes Cold back into the cage.
Freyer lands with a left to the head.
Freyer lands a hook to the side of the head.
Cold drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Freyer lands an elbow just above Cold 's eye.

It looks like Too Cold has been cut.
Freyer scores a nice knee to the body.
Cold is breathing heavily.
Freyer unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Freyer presses Cold against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Freyer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The fight stays on the outside here - Freyer looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Freyer rushes Cold and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Freyer is pushing Cold up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Freyer cracks Cold with a nice body shot.

Freyer lands an elbow inside.

Freyer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cold throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Freyer.

Freyer rushes Cold and presses him up against the cage.
Freyer stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Freyer lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Cold backwards.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Freyer.
Freyer is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Freyer.

Freyer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Freyer pushes Cold away with a front kick.
Too Cold seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Freyer connects with a leg kick. Cold looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Freyer closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cold to the mat! Cold manages to get full guard.
Freyer not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Cold will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Cold has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Freyer is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Cold.
Freyer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cold. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Let's hope that Freyer has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Cold wants to control but Freyer postures up.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Zander Freyer hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Freyer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Freyer drives through and clinches with Cold against the cage.

Freyer putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Cold in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

Cold really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Freyer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Freyer throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Cold crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
