The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Konstantin Menshow and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Yankowy or perhaps it was just good defense by Trinidad which made him look bad.
Yankowy fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Trinidad throws a good cross that connects.
It looks like Jon Yankowy has been cut.
Trinidad throws a hook to the side of Yankowy's head but Yankowy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Horrible takedown by Yankowy or perhaps it was just good defense by Trinidad which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jon Yankowy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Trinidad throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Yankowy stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Yankowy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Trinidad's waist but Trinidad gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Yankowy off to one side.
Trinidad throws an overhand right that has Yankowy reeling! Trinidad follows up with more punches and Yankowy is out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Felix Trinidad!
