Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Christian Derksen!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Majors lands with a kick to the temple. Derksen shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Majors thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Derksen if he has to take too many more of those.
Majors is looking to clinch.
Majors walks forward, straight into a front kick from Derksen.
Majors fails to land the takedown.
Derksen tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Majors counters with a stiff right hand.
Derksen feints and then cracks Majors's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Majors down.
Derksen is looking to clinch.

Majors closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Derksen quickly recovers to half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Emory Majors decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
