Deegan thows a leg kick but Marcy checks it
and Marcy counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Deegan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Deegan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Marcy moves out of range as Deegan throws a body kick.
Deegan lands with a good body shot.
Marcy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Deegan swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Marcy tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Marcy has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Marcy is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Deegan has escaped the position, nice work there.

Marcy goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Deegan has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Marcy but great work by Deegan.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Deegan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Marcy keeps working.

Deegan lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

You can see the frustration on Marcy's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
