Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Stacey Briggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ed Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Chris Saunders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Briggs's hands.
Sanchez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Sanchez misses with a double jab.
Sanchez tries to bum rush Briggs with a series of wild strikes but Briggs uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Briggs misses with a body kick.

Briggs clinches up against the cage.
Briggs could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Briggs jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sanchez walks away with a smile on his face. Briggs gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Briggs is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Sanchez.
Sanchez lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Briggs shoots in but Sanchez avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Sanchez scores with a jab. Briggs acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Briggs is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Briggs loses concentration momentarily and Sanchez pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Briggs crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Sanchez finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
