Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Waldemar Koksowicz Drugi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sandro Poletto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Poletto drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Koksowicz Drugi manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Poletto has Koksowicz Drugi in his guard.

Poletto is looking for a triangle here but Koksowicz Drugi uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Poletto has control of Koksowicz Drugi's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Koksowicz Drugi regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Oh Koksowicz Drugi is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Poletto tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Poletto is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Koksowicz Drugi can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!


Poletto throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Koksowicz Drugi's waist but Koksowicz Drugi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Poletto off to one side.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Poletto tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Poletto has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Poletto swings around for an armbar but Koksowicz Drugi sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Poletto's guard.

Koksowicz Drugi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Poletto has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Koksowicz Drugi has managed to get both his arms back between Poletto's legs - danger averted.

Poletto has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Koksowicz Drugi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Koksowicz Drugi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Koksowicz Drugi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Koksowicz Drugi stalks Poletto and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Poletto's face. Poletto staggers backwards, shaken.

Sandro Poletto comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Poletto has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
