Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Kramer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Lukashenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Lukashenko's choice of entrance music: Belarus National Anthem. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alexander Lukashenko!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Emerson Jorge and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lukashenko shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kramer manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Lukashenko throws an elbow that misses. Kramer uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lukashenko's guard. Nice move by Kramer!
Kramer wants to pass the guard but Lukashenko is keeping the position.
Lukashenko is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Kramer is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Lukashenko throws a strike but Kramer rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Lukashenko wants to get back to his feet but Kramer is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Kramer uses his free foot to push down on Lukashenko's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Lukashenko.

My spies in Soco na mãe - Stand Up Striking inform me that Lukashenko has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Lukashenko is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Kramer wants to improve his position but Lukashenko is controlling well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kramer shoots for a double leg takedown but Lukashenko sprawls well. He's pushed Kramer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Alexander Lukashenko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Kramer takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Lukashenko looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Kramer is refusing to be controlled, as Lukashenko sits in half guard.
Kramer is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Lukashenko scores with a couple of nice shots.
Kramer tries to kick Lukashenko off but Lukashenko keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Well Lukashenko has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
