Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rafael Amaral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Percival Noffsinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

It looks like Percival Noffsinger has been cut.

Amaral has closed the distance and engaged Noffsinger in a clinch.
Noffsinger is still on wobbly legs! Can Amaral finish him?
Amaral using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Noffsinger has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Noffsinger seems to have recovered his senses.

Amaral manages to break the clinch.
Noffsinger changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Amaral tries to avoid it but Noffsinger manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Amaral to the ground. Amaral escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Amaral throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Noffsinger is trying desperately to land a takedown but Amaral is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Noffsinger.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Noffsinger crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Amaral - the referee stops the clock and Noffsinger gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Amaral. Noffsinger manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Amaral cracks Noffsinger with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Noffsinger looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Amaral finish him?

Amaral rushes Noffsinger and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Noffsinger has Amaral pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Amaral manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Amaral escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Amaral keeps the fight on the outside.
Amaral lands a nice looking kick to the body. Noffsinger takes a step back to recover.
Amaral lands a nice shot to the body.
Amaral turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Amaral cracks Noffsinger with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Noffsinger tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Amaral pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Noffsinger is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rafael Amaral!
A relieved looking Rafael Amaral thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
