The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garrett keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Garrett misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Peltier.

Garrett decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Garrett really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Peltier is looking to escape.

Garrett is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Peltier can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Peltier is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Peltier looks winded!

This has been an exciting period of action!
Garrett takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Peltier looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Garrett cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
