Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carter Yang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dj Razor Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dj Razor Kane has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Carter Yang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dj Razor Kane!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yang circles away from the clinch attempt.
Yang fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Yang shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kane as he avoids it easily.
Yang has his takedown stuffed

and Kane counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Yang wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carter Yang. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Yang manages to pull guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Kane won't allow Yang to sweep him here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yang controlling the position.
Yang is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Yang will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kane trying to control but Yang is working from the bottom.

Kane looks winded!

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Dj Razor Kane.
Kane swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Kane fails in his attempt to clinch.
No luck for Kane with that takedown attempt.

Yang has taken the fight to the clinch.
Yang pushes Kane back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Kane is trying to pull guard but Yang turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Yang's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Yang really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Yang shoots for a takedown but Kane saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Yang misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Yang has a takedown stuffed.
Kane tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Yang manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Yang throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Yang dives in for a single leg takedown but Kane sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Kane prevents a takedown attempt there.
Kane goes for a takedown in the clinch but Yang prevents it.
Yang pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Kane managing to block the knees to the body from Yang.
Kane on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Kane goes for a takedown attempt but Yang pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Yang misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A right-left combo lands from Yang.

It looks like Dj Razor Kane has been cut.
Kane has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.
Yang shoots in and drives through. Kane sprawls well.
Yang fails with a takedown attempt.

Yang feints and as Kane raises his hands in defense, Yang changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Yang works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Still in half guard, Yang seems content to control.
Kane is trying to maintain the position but Yang is very close to passing his half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Yang works his foot free and advances to mount.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Yang cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Dj Razor Kane's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Yang digs a good hook to Kane's body.
Kane fails with a takedown attempt.
Kane shoots for a double leg takedown but Yang sprawls well. He's pushed Kane's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kane takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Yang shoots in looking for a takedown. Kane tries to sprawl out of it but Yang keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kane manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Yang fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kane, pushing him back against the cage.
Kane wants to break the clinch but can't.

Yang pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Yang closes the distance and clinches.

Yang gets control of Kane's arms and successfully pulls guard. Yang will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Kane is breathing heavily.

Yang had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kane defends it easily.
Yang has control of Kane's left arm, preventing Kane from doing any damage.

Yang throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Kane must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Yang has Kane pulled in close to control his posture.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Yang is on top in guard.
Yang works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Kane is in trouble now - Yang has advanced to mount!
Kane avoids a series of strikes thrown by Yang.

Yang controlling from the full mount.
Yang has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Kane's face.
Kane tries to control Yang's body but Yang pushes him off. Kane squirms to his side and now Yang has his back!

Kane won't enjoy being in this position. Yang looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Kane is tapping - it's over boys! Yang picks up the submission victory!
